• Financial transaction data (amounts, categories, dates)

• Currency preferences
• Receipt images (processed locally via OCR)

2. Permissions We Use

Qash Finans requires the following permissions to function properly:

• Camera Permission: Used to capture receipt photos for automatic transaction entry via OCR (Optical Character Recognition). Camera access is only used when you explicitly choose to take a photo of a receipt. All image processing is done locally on your device, and receipt images are not transmitted to external servers.
• Storage Permission: Used to save exported data files (PDF, JSON, CSV) and access receipt images you choose to import. We only access files you explicitly select.
• Internet Permission: Used to fetch exchange rates for currency conversion. No personal financial data is transmitted.
• Biometric Permission: Used for optional fingerprint/Face ID authentication to secure your financial data.
• Notification Permission: Used to send reminders for recurring payments and budget limit alerts.

All permissions are optional except for core functionality. You can use the app without granting camera or storage permissions, but some features (like receipt scanning) will be unavailable.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is stored locally on your device. We do not share your financial information with third parties.

4. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences. No data is transmitted to external servers except for:

• Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports only, no personal financial data)
• Exchange rate API (for currency conversion, no personal data transmitted)

5. Data Security

We implement security measures to protect your data, including optional PIN and biometric authentication.

6. Your Rights

You can delete all your data at any time through the app settings. All data is stored locally and can be completely removed.

7. Children's Privacy

Our app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date.
